The Rock'N Resiliency Project combines the power of storytelling with live music - a rock concert with a message. Using my most requested conference keynote "The Road to Resiliency", with songs that compliment the message of overcoming adversity.
One of the things that makes this even more powerful is that the musicians are high school students; high school students inspiring high school students. Our band 'Aside from Sorrow' have been working on original and cover songs that both depict the struggles of adolescence and that inspire hope.

Thank you for allowing Spruce Grove Comp to be the first to see Aside from Sorrow perform the Rock’N Resiliency Project. The experience was one I won’t forget. Your story and message were extremely powerful to me. I can’t tell you how many times I have listened to the songs on the set list after having an argument with my mom. The fact that you were able to share your story with a room full of strangers makes me feel more comfortable with knowing that my situation can be bad sometimes but people who have been through much worse, they can still become such inspirational people like you.

Troy Payne
Music has always been Troy's escape. Troy is a singer and guitarist. He loves all genres including punk, folk and metal. His influences are Led Zepplin, Bob Marley and the Eels.
Jordan Ewasiuk
Jordan has been playing guitar since he was 8 and is the lead guitarist for Aside from Sorrow. He has been heavily influenced by guitarists such as, Slash, Santana, Doug Aldrich, and John Petrucci.
