As part of our FCSS Directors Network, Troy presented to both of our local junior and senior high schools as well as during one of the sessions at the conference. I had the opportunity to sit in on all three sessions and I have to say, without a doubt Troy is one of the most powerful speakers I have ever listened to. He was engaging and interactive no matter what age group he was speaking to, and delivered an intense personal account of the challenges he has faced in his life. To hear him tell his story is gut wrenching, but the message he delivers in terms of resiliency is extremely powerful. Most importantly, the tools he leaves the youth and adults with are very practical and leaves them with hope that change is possible. We will definitely have Troy in our community again!
